why I became an entrepreneur hoping there might be some inspiration in it for you. I first became interested in owning my own business while I was still a full-time employee working as a legal assistant. I wanted a business that would allow me to build wealth and provide a lifestyle for my family that would allow us to travel when we wanted to, and go wherever we wanted to go. However, I also wanted to show others how to build a business for themselves and their loved ones. I like challenges and realized this indeed would be a challenge for me. So, I began searching for a business that would hold my interest.
I started investigating the business opportunity niche, focusing on MLMs but I realized it wasn't what I wanted. Moving on from that venture I decided to try the affiliate marketing niche. That really appealed to me. However, I was not ready for being overwhelmed with information and offers to buy every software item that came my way, none of which helped me or solved my problems. It was hard to keep up with what I was trying to do. So, I took a short break from trying to start a home business..
My next try at internet marketing I realized I needed to find someone in online marketing who could help me understand this online business and who was really interested in helping learn. Fortunately, I clicked on this one link that I had received in my email inbox. The person who sent me the link appeared to be doing excellent in her business and I had been following her for a while through her Blogs and Newsletters.
She sent me a link to 3 videos of this online guru who had become a multi-millionaire online. I was truly impressed because he actually communicated with his followers in a way that I had not seen before. He taught his followers exactly what he did to become a multi-millionaire. That's when I realized I had found a mentor, one who was a strong leader to his followers. I then realized that I could not give up building a home business. I told myself, “How can you quit? You’re not a quitter. This is a challenge, take it. Losing is not a part of your DNA”.
So, I got off the floor, became serious about my journey to become an entrepreneur, and joined the business program offered by my now mentor. I gave him the name, "over the shoulder guru", because he teaches by showing you step-by-step what he does and how he does it. I immediately joined his program, “The Four Percent Group” when I realized he was teaching what other gurus were not.
I now have two such mentors. I finally began to learn what the online internet business was about. I became excited about my business. I began to help and encourage others to find and start their own business.
If you're struggling in building your business, my suggestion to you is try The Four Percent Success Challenge . Whatever you do don't quit on your journey to success.
